The fundamentals of electricity: Ac/Dc Circuit; Determining Switches; Conductor Size; Ampacities; Installation of light fixtures; Receptables and service entrance panel that are in compliance With national electrical code N.E.C. PROGRAM DURATION IS 12 WEEKS, MONDAY THRU THURSDAY, 9:00 A.M. to 1 P.M. CLASSES START JULY 2008. PROGRAM TUITION IS $750.00. PRE-REQUISITIES: BE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OLD and READ & WRITE NATIVE LANGUAGE (English or Spanish) English as a Second Language (ESL) Two July sessions of our ESL class are offered at NIGHT: Monday/Wednesday - Levels 0-3 and Tuesday/Thursday - Levels 4-6. Note: ALL STUDENTS WILL BE TESTED TO DETERMINE THE LEVELS PRIOR TO CLASS ASSIGNMENT. The class is offered at NIGHT and will begin on July 9, 2008. Cost for the July 2008 session is $200.00 per student, payable on the first day of class unless prior arrangements are made with Reach Across Houston. GED Preparation Enroll for our GED preparation class in July. Effective July 9, 2008 our four weeks class will be offered in two NIGHT sessions: Monday/Wednesday - Levels 0-3 and Tuesday/Thursday - Levels 4-6. Note: ALL STUDENTS WILL BE TESTED TO DETERMINE THE LEVELS PRIOR TO CLASS ASSIGNMENT. Cost for the July 2008 session is $200.00 per student, payable on the first day of class unless prior arrangements are made with Reach Across Houston. U.S. Citizenship We are offering U.S. citizenship classes on Saturdays. Classes begin in July 14, 2008, from 2:00PM to 4:00PM, and will be for four weeks. Cost for the July session per student is $150.00, payable on the first day of class unless prior arrangements are made with Reach Across Houston. Computer Training Computer training classes are offered on SATURDAY MORNINGS AT 10:00 AM TO 1:00PM for eight weeks. The classes will begin Saturday, July 14,2007. Learn basic computer usage including, Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel and Power Point. Cost for the July 2008 session is $200.00 per student, payable on the first day of class unless prior arrangements are made with Reach Across Houston. |
